Alice down the rabbit hole

Our Community Development Director Jenny Godfrey has met with a local blogger, Alice, and is keen for visitors to our website to take a look at the postings on Alice’s blog. Jenny says,

“Alice is incredibly passionate about sharing her experience of mental health problems, which began when she was a child. Her ability to write about these experiences and what has helped her must be encouraged and shared as widely as possible. West Kent Mind are keen to promote such awareness raising and will therefore be including a link to her blog on our website. We want to thank Alice for being such an inspiration to others and urge you to stay with Alice to read her entries.”

Alice Fenner is a 22 year old female from Kent, enjoying baking, always wearing funky socks and a self confessed pinterest addict. Alice says on her first blog,

“More to the point of me starting this blog, I am an anxiety, depression and panic sufferer. I have been for as long as I can remember. Through all of my experience, I have learnt just how important it is to talk about mental health. There is still such a stigma around mental health, and I can honestly appreciate why that is. The only way that we are going to beat it, is through education. That is why I’m here. I aim to educate and share my story with the world.
