Heads Together London Marathon
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry are spearheading the Heads Together campaign to end stigma around mental health.
Heads Together aims to change the national conversation on mental health and wellbeing, and will be a partnership with inspiring charities with decades of experience in tackling stigma, raising awareness, and providing vital help for people with mental health challenges.
Heads Together are the 2017 Virgin Money London Marathon Charity of the Year which is the perfect springboard for the Heads Together campaign.
Mind are one of the core charities involved with the campaign and have offered local Minds such as ourselves the opportunity to secure places for runners in our community to run the marathon and raise money for the local Mind of their choice.
We are delighted to announce that we have four runners with Heads Together places who are raising money for West Kent Mind.
2017 is the 37th London Marathon with a record number of 253,930 people entering the public ballot. There were 38,944 finishers in the 2016 marathon.
