Warners exceed their fundraising target

We were presented this week with an impressive cheque from Warners Solicitors who have been fundraising for us across the entire year.  The fantastic amount of £12,029.27 is an invaluable contribution towards our continued work, providing mental health services across West Kent. As part of the fundraising activities, a team of 10 from Warners Solicitors and Handelsbanken in Sevenoaks took on the Three Peaks Challenge in July.  They successfully climbed Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales, all in 24 hours!...

West Kent Mind trustee Aleck Thomson sadly died on 23 July 2018. I first met Aleck in the summer of 2011 and shortly afterwards, in September 2011, he joined our board. At that time Aleck was about to retire early from his position as a senior civil servant at the Home Office.
