Freshfields and The Drive are supported living houses in Sevenoaks run by our small, friendly team who provide housing related support during working hours. Residents work with a key worker to develop a personal support plan reflecting their needs, goals and aspirations.

  • The houses offer a safe and secure environment in which people who have had or, who are recovering from mental health problems, work with our support staff at their own pace to achieve increasing levels of independence.
  • The spacious houses are spread over three floors and located in pleasant surroundings. Enjoying large secluded gardens with patios, they have a communal lounge and dining areas and fourteen individual rooms with shared kitchen, bathroom and laundry facilities. There is also a self-contained flat.

“Having a room at the Mind house has given me space and freedom that I’ve never had before. Having my own space and the support from my key worker, has given me an opportunity to learn how to be independent again.”

Moving into The Drive gave me a fresh start and the possibility of a different way of living in a safe environment. Although this move was a positive step for me, with support from West Kent Mind I was able to fulfil my long term ambition to have my own flat and live independently.
