Mental Health Awareness – online

There has never been a more important time to look after our mental health and learn about self-care, and we’re here to help.  This invaluable short session explores the factors that impact on our wellbeing and offers tips for developing helpful coping skills.

Designed as an introduction to Mental Health, this one hour workshop covers:

  • What is Mental Health?
  • Language, understanding stigma and discrimination
  • Spotting signs of distress
  • Support and signposting
  • Self-Care

The course will be delivered live via the Zoom videoconferencing service. Zoom is really easy to use on a computer, laptop, tablet or smartphone. You do not need to create an account, though for the best experience you will need to download Zoom to your device. To check if you’re all set to go, visit zoom.us/test on the device you plan to use, and you’ll be prompted to download and install Zoom if you don’t already have it.
