A Brighter Future

Coping with the loss of someone or something you love is one of life’s biggest challenges. Often the pain of loss can feel overwhelming. People may experience all kinds of difficult and unexpected emotions, from shock and anger to disbelief, guilt, and profound sadness. The pain of grief can disrupt physical and mental health, making it difficult to sleep, eat, or even think straight.

A Brighter Future is a programme from Live Well Kent and West Kent Mind for people who want help to deal with loss. This could be the loss of a partner, loved one or a pet, loss of employment or a home, loss of mobility or independence, or any other kind of loss.

The programme offers 8 weeks of 1:1 counselling followed by a one-off workshop facilitated by a qualified therapist.

PROGRAMME FULL. The programme has now reached capacity for the year to April 2020. We hope to offer the programme again next year, to be announced on this page.
