Community Wellbeing Services

Our wellbeing services offer you the chance to join a range of different social activities and groups in a supportive, safe environment. The programmes provides fun and interest, but most importantly social contact, friendship, and access to peer and professional support. If you have mental health problems you can often become isolated, and these activities at our centres or out in the community really do make a difference.

Social Activity Groups 

These are varied time-limited programmes (up to 12 months) suitable for anyone who would like to join as part of their recovery journey. There are weekly/monthly Social Activity Groups in Edenbridge, Tonbridge, Sevenoaks, Ashford and Tunbridge Wells.

  • Creative Minds – can include painting, drawing, collage, clay, embroidery, photography, crochet, printing
  • Natural Ways to Wellbeing – May include growing fruit, vegetables, flowers, watching wildlife, guest speakers, days out
  • Living Well – can include healthy eating, relaxation techniques, sleep hygiene, fitness, photography, walk & talk, aromatherapy

Peer Support Groups

These are time-limited programmes, suitable for anyone who would like to join as part of their recovery journey. Group members are able to support each other and share their expertise and learning.

  • Project-based groups – meet once a month in Sevenoaks Edenbridge and Tonbridge. Each group will work together on a project for up to 12 months.

Research is showing us how our health and happiness can be boosted by doing certain things on a day-to-day basis. We use the ‘Wheel of Well-being’ as a guide to show how different activities and groups can support your wellbeing.
