The Solace Café provides a safe and non-judgemental environment for people to meet others with similar problems, and to access mental health support and advice from peers and professionals. We are not a counselling service but are here to listen and are able to offer suggestions and signposting about how to access other support in the local area.

The café is run by our experienced and welcoming team and is currently operating in person at the Sevenoaks Wellbeing Centre on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Tonbridge on a Wednesday and Friday, Tunbridge Wells on Thursday evenings and online via Zoom on Saturday evenings.

As well as a group space for peer support and crisis prevention, we offer 1-to-1s for individuals approaching crisis point and new visitors. If you are a new visitor, please contact us in advance (see ‘How do I attend’ below), so we can offer you the level of support you require.

I was diagnosed with a mental health condition a few years ago. The diagnosis left me scared and confused as to what it meant for me and my life. Solace has been THE most effective support for me in coming to terms with my condition.
