We’re excited to announce that Dame Kelly Holmes is to be named as West Kent Mind’s new Ambassador. It’s an honour for us to have the passion and energy of Dame Kelly as a representative. Latest news

West Kent Mind trustee Aleck Thomson sadly died on 23 July 2018. I first met Aleck in the summer of 2011 and shortly afterwards, in September 2011, he joined our board. At that time Aleck was about to retire early from his position as a senior civil servant at the Home Office. It was clear right from the outset that his work and life experiences were going to be invaluable to West Kent Mind.

Solace Café

The Solace Café in Tonbridge is for people at risk of developing a mental health crisis and in need of support and social contact. The café provides a safe, non-judgemental place for people to meet and access support and advice from peers and professionals. Open Thursday and Saturday evenings from 5pm – 9pm.
