Welcome

Welcome to West Kent Mind and thanks for dropping by.

Although an independent charity, West Kent Mind is a proud member of the Mind Federation and contributes to the shared goal of leaving no mind behind. We are here to ensure that people experiencing mental health problems get support and respect through inclusive, engaging support services. These services are designed to build mental health resilience and wellbeing within the community, equipping individuals with the tools and knowledge to support themselves, as well as their friends, family, and colleagues. As a passionate organisation with a big heart, we are committed to excellence in our mission to help individuals get well, stay well, and thrive.

But we can’t do this alone. Our local community is everything to us. We stand shoulder to shoulder with our clients, stakeholders, partners, funders, local schools, colleges, businesses and the local authorities to achieve our ambition to enrich people’s lives through better mental wellbeing.

If you have something to offer to our local community to help us realise our vision, we’d love to hear from you!

I enjoy knowing that the people I meet here understand mental illness and are so supportive and non-judgemental.
