It is only through the support and generosity of people like you that we are able to continue to provide quality mental health services across West Kent, helping people to get well and stay well. We work with over 8,000 people each year, through our vital therapeutic groups, affordable counselling, supported housing or training and education programmes. In the last year (2020-2021) we delivered 3,297 one-to-one affordable counselling sessions and had over 3000 attendances at our social activity groups, an increase of 55%.
Mental health support required in our community has increased by around 30% due to the effects of the pandemic, and resources are scarcer than before. We know that demand for our services will continue to increase in the weeks, months and years ahead.
As an independent charity we rely on the support of our local community to help us to provide these vital services.
Whatever you are able to give, please know that your donation will make a difference.
Why does mental health matter, and why are we so passionate about supporting people in our local community who are experiencing mental health problems?
