Group Agreements
To ensure our groups are safe, supportive, and respectful spaces for everyone, we ask all participants to agree to a few simple guidelines. These include treating others with kindness, respecting confidentiality, and maintaining a non-judgemental environment.
To ensure our groups are safe, supportive, and respectful spaces for everyone, we ask all participants to agree to a few simple guidelines. These include treating others with kindness, respecting confidentiality, and maintaining a non-judgemental environment.

When attending a West Kent Mind (WKM) group, either in person or online, we kindly ask all participants to agree to the following:
- We agree to be kind and respectful.
- We respect the confidentiality of all group members and what they say.
- We understand the need for everyone in the group to have a chance to speak and contribute.
- We will not turn up to the group under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- We will take responsibility for ourselves and ask for support from the group facilitator if we need to.
- We agree that we will not pass on the Teams Link supplied by West Kent Mind to anyone who is not a member of the group (for online groups).
- We will be respectful of others in the group if we need to receive or make a phone call and will leave the meeting/room to do this if necessary.
- We will speak to the group facilitator if we are concerned for another member of the group.
- We understand that our group is a friendly and non-judgemental space where people are encouraged to be themselves without prejudice, racism, or discrimination.
