Charity CEO and Leadership Wellbeing
Senior leaders in the charity sector carry what we call the invisible weight. The pressures of leading organisations with limited resources, high workloads, and the emotional toll of frontline work. These pressures often lead to stress, burnout, and feelings of isolation, which can affect decision-making, job satisfaction, and the stability of whole organisations.
With funding from Kent County Council, West Kent Mind is launching a new programme running until March 2026 to directly support the mental health and resilience of charity CEO’s and senior leaders.
This programme combines Communities of Practice with Charity CEO and Leadership Wellbeing sessions to give leaders the safe spaces, tools, and peer networks they need to thrive.
Communities of Practice
A series of 8 free peer-mentoring sessions running from September 2025 to March 2026. These sessions create safe and supportive spaces for senior charity leaders to share experiences, explore coping strategies, and exchange best practices for managing stress and building resilience. The aim is to reduce isolation, strengthen leadership capacity, and support CEOs in sustaining their impact.
- Join a safe, confidential peer mentoring group with fellow charity CEOs and senior leaders
- Share lived experiences and learn coping strategies from peers who understand your challenges
- Access practical tools to strengthen resilience and manage stress
- Reduce isolation and build supportive connections across the sector
- Shape the future of leadership support in Kent by contributing your voice
