Tonbridge & Malling Borough Council, Sevenoaks District Council and Kent County Council’s Public Health Department are working with us to support young people’s mental health. Evidence suggests that mental health problems are on the increase amongst school age children and that 1 in 10 are likely to experience a problem at some time during their school life.

On Thursday 4 February our CEO Jill Roberts was a guest on Channel Radio’s Community Radio Show. Jill chatted with the show’s hosts Laura and Russell Burton-Lawrence about mental health and about West Kent Mind’s services. Jill talked through the Six Ways to Wellbeing, mentioning the Live It Well website, and of course all the services our charity provides in support of better mental health and wellbeing.
