Creative Minds

Paint bushes and pencils in a jar

Allowing ourselves time to engage in creative activities and taking pleasure in noticing, shaping, listening and making can encourage mindfulness, relaxation and improved mood. It can also help to increase concentration and confidence and reduce stress and anxiety.

Our Creative Minds six month programmes will spark your imagination, set you on new creative journeys and support you to nurture good mental health and wellbeing. We are working with professional artists and arts organisations in community venues across West Kent, to offer a wide range of different activities to inspire creativity and improve wellbeing.

All the programmes are inclusive, friendly, open to all (aged 18+) and free to join. No previous experience or skill is required, just enthusiasm, a willingness to learn and an interest supporting good mental health and wellbeing. We hope participants will commit to the six months to fully benefit from the programme.

We run eight Creative Minds programmes a year so please do check back regularly for announcements of new programmes.
