Creative Spaces

Throughout 2024/25, Creative Spaces provided a vibrant platform to showcase the transformative role that arts and creativity play in supporting mental health. Carefully curated by the Creative Minds team, these events highlighted the talents and stories of our clients, while shining a spotlight on the wider work of West Kent Mind.

The programme offered a rich variety of opportunities: from exhibiting and selling client artwork, to Creative Agents sharing their experiences of the arts, demonstrating skills, and leading workshops. This year also marked two exciting firsts, our first public art stall, where Creative Agents raised funds in support of West Kent Mind, and the launch of Creative Agent-led workshops in crochet and gel art.

In total, seven Creative Spaces took place over the year, each celebrating creativity, connection, and personal growth.

Looking ahead, the Creative Minds team has recruited an independent evaluator to work alongside West Kent Mind during the coming year. This evaluation will help capture and curate a detailed narrative of the arts’ transformative impact, tracking not only how individuals benefit, but also how the programme influences organisations and strengthens our wider community.
