Today we bid a heartfelt and emotional farewell to our CEO of the past seven years, Stevie Rice

Stevie has been an exceptional leader for West Kent Mind, guiding the organisation with vision, compassion, and unwavering commitment. Despite multiple challenges, including the global pandemic, under her leadership West Kent Mind has grown significantly, supporting a large number of clients and strengthening its impact across our community. One of Stevie’s most enduring legacies is the hugely successful Creative Minds programme, which has won multiple awards and transformed countless lives. Her passion, creativity, and belief in West Kent Mind have shaped all that she has achieved.

Stevie has always led with heart, throwing herself into her role and championing both staff and service users every step of the way. She will be deeply missed by all who have had the privilege of working with her.

While we are sad to see her go, Stevie leaves West Kent Mind in safe and capable hands, with Pip Lawrence stepping in as Interim Chief Operating Officer.

We wish Stevie every success and happiness in her next chapter, and we thank her sincerely for everything she has given to West Kent Mind.
