Our Voice is a group aimed at shaping the future of West Kent Mind services.

This group of current and past West Kent Mind clients meets 12 times over the year, alongside volunteers, staff, and trustees.

Together, they ensure that people with lived experience of mental health problems have a real say in how our services are planned and delivered.

Why Our Voice?

We believe that those with lived experience provide invaluable insights and should be key partners in driving change. This group will encourage collaboration, break down barriers between staff and those who use our services, and create a culture where everyone’s voice is heard and valued.

Discussions will cover:

  • Communication
  • Future services
  • Feedback
  • Fundraising

We’re welcoming new voices!

We’re looking for new volunteers to continue the great work being done by our current members.

This opportunity is open to anyone (18+) who is currently accessing, or has recently accessed, West Kent Mind support services (one-to-one or group).

You must be based in the West Kent area and willing to commit to regular participation for at least 12 months.

When and where?

Monthly on Monday morning, at West Kent Mind in Sevenoaks (with options for online attendance).
