Julie - Associate Counsellor

Julie Reeve

Do you sometimes feel that life is too much? Too many thoughts, overwhelming worries, lack of enthusiasm or disinterest? Maybe it’s time to talk about it, share your worries, explore your feelings, offload your thoughts? Starting counselling is a big decision, possibly a life changing moment. It takes courage to open up and explore things that have perhaps been hidden or unknown.

I work by proving a safe, non-judgemental space to create a healing relationship, in which you can explore your feelings, thoughts and troubles. I work with you to gain self awareness and understanding, to develop healthier ways of facing the challenges in your life.

I have over 10 years experience of working with adults in long and short term settings. I have worked under the IAPT System in the NHS, worked in end of life care at a local hospice and in a college environment for young adults and teenagers.

I have worked with mental health issues at West Kent Mind and in the counselling service for around 8 years.

My training is as an Integrative Counsellor. My Diploma is accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), from the Kent & Medway NHS and Social Care Partnership Trust, Inter-Psyche Training Institute. I am a registered Member of the BACP.

I am currently working either face to face in River Walk, Tonbridge or Mosaic Centre, Tunbridge Wells, or on Zoom.

My fee is £50 for a session up to an hour in length. An initial phone or Zoom consultation is free and essential to establish working together.

I look forward to hearing from you, when you’re ready.
