Kerry Moir
There are many life challenges which might bring us to therapy, you may be feeling low, anxious or in need of some support; been through an experience in your life which you are struggling to get over; you may find yourself using coping mechanisms which may not be so healthy for you; or you would like life to be different but just not sure how to get there. Whatever brings you to therapy, I am here to be alongside you as you learn more about yourself and move towards a more fulfilling place in your life.
About me
I am an Integrative therapist offering Counselling/Psychotherapy which means I able to draw on a range of different theories and techniques enabling me to adapt my therapeutic style to meet your needs. I strongly believe each of us are individual, that “not one size fits all”, the uniqueness of each person and experience remains precious.
Central to my work is the relationship between client and therapist. I aim to provide a safe, confidential space with warmth, acceptance, and respect. A supportive place where you can be truly heard.
Sometimes there are just no words good enough to express how you are feeling, or words can get in the way. By using the arts in therapy, this can offer an expansive way to communicate. It can be valuable to reflect on issues and life challenges in a more creative, imaginative, and playful way. This can deepen our self-awareness which can enable the potential for change, growth and well-being.
