Does life feel difficult at the moment?

Are you feeling vulnerable, frustrated or maybe angry or anxious? Perhaps you are struggling to deal with a particular event or a difficult relationship? Maybe life feels overwhelming right now and your usual coping strategies do not seem to be working. If so, then maybe I can help support you through counselling.

Why Counselling?

Whatever the circumstances, counselling can provide a safe space for you to talk openly, where you can feel heard and understood. Talking therapy works. It gives you time and space to focus on yourself and make positive changes to your life. We all have the right to live life to our fullest and not to simply exist. Taking this step can feel daunting but it is the first step towards a new way of living.

Why me?

My priority is you and to ensure that we build a strong, therapeutic relationship that allows you to feel listened to, understood and valued in an environment that is safe and non-judgemental. I am always client led, which means that you are the focus of each and every session. I can support your needs and help you explore your thoughts and feelings, to enable you to feel more comfortable in your life and improve your relationships. Together we can look at what is troubling you and focus on what we can do together, to help you move forward with your life.

I know that it can be really difficult to open up to a counsellor and I will make sure that we work at a depth and pace that ensures you remain comfortable and in control. I am here to support you.

I have been working as a counsellor and integrative psychotherapist for over 12 years, following a 15 year career in a high profile role in the corporate world and so I understand the pressures often put on us in our working life and juggling family and career.

I have worked at West Kent Mind for over 8 years. I support clients with mental health issues including anxiety, depression, personality disorders, paranoia, trauma and grief. I have a special interest in working with neurodiverse adults.

I have extensive experience of supporting victims of domestic abuse and also working with perpetrators. I also have specialist experience in working with parents and victims of sexual abuse.

How I work

I work both face to face at my home in Sevenoaks and also online. Since Covid, more and more clients have chosen to work online and I now conduct the majority of my sessions this way. I have found that working remotely means you are able to fit your sessions into a busy schedule.

I offer an introductory phone call to discuss your needs and see if we are suited to work together. My fee is £60 a session (50 mins), but I do offer concessionary rates for some clients dependant on their circumstances.

If you think I may be able to help you, then please reach out and we can arrange a chat. My email is counsellingwithsasha@gmail.com or use the form below.
