There are many reasons why people seek therapy. Whether you are looking to explore different ways of living your life or going through difficult times or relationships, feeling overwhelmed not knowing which way to turn, therapy can offer you space to think about, and to work through your situation.

Therapy provides a safe space for you to begin the journey of exploration. You may be searching for answers or reasons to understand feelings such as anxiety and fear, anger, loss and sadness. Therapy enables you to reflect on your life experiences. Through telling and sharing your story, you may begin to find the answers you are looking for.

In therapy I offer a confidential, safe, and non-judgemental space. Through compassion and respect, we can build a trusting relationship, opening a pathway for self-discovery. Finding a deeper meaning and understanding of your lived experiences can allow us to look at changes you may want to make.

I have a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy and practice as an integrative therapist, I draw upon a range of theories and adopt different techniques in accordance to the individual situation.

My therapeutic approach is person centred holistic and collaborative. Together we can work with the mind, body, emotions, feelings, behaviours, and spiritual nature. I respect and value people’s lifestyle choices and work with humility. My approach is relational and believing that the therapeutic relationship emerges from a space of mutual respect and trust which develops over time, I aim to work in a consistent and collaborative manner. I believe that there is always another way of looking at life and through self-exploration in therapy, we can learn new and different approaches to life, our ways of being and how we relate  to ourselves and others.

My professional background has been in health and social care. During this time I have worked with people experiencing a range of mental health and social problems both in the community and in a clinical setting. Since completing social work training (1998) I have developed counselling skills and taken advanced training in systemic therapy working with families and individuals to bring about change.

I undertake regular clinical training and continuous professional development in support of my work. I am fully insured and a registered member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy) and uphold their values and ethical framework.

For no charge I offer up to a 20-minute consultation and thereafter:
£60 for face-to-face session (Tunbridge Wells) and £50 for telephone or online session.
