Life can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re carrying things quietly on your own. Therapy offers a space to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and feel supported without judgement.
I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with several years’ experience supporting adults through a wide range of emotional and psychological difficulties. I have been working with West Kent Mind for over three years, initially as a trainee and now as a qualified counsellor. My aim is to offer a safe, confidential and supportive space where you feel listened to, understood and accepted.
My Approach
I work in a warm, calm and non-judgemental way, tailoring each session to you rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we explore the thoughts, feelings and patterns that may be contributing to distress, helping you develop greater self-awareness and emotional understanding.
I draw on a pluralistic approach and may integrate techniques such as:
- Visualisation
- Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)
- Therapeutic coaching (where appropriate within a counselling framework)
Sessions are led by your needs and pace.
What I Can Help With
I work with clients experiencing:
- Anxiety, stress, low mood and emotional overwhelm
- Low self-esteem, self-confidence and feelings of being stuck
- Unhelpful habits or recurring patterns
- Relationship difficulties and interpersonal challenges
- Life transitions, pressure or uncertainty
You do not need to have everything figured out before starting, therapy is a space to explore and understand what feels difficult.
My Background
Alongside my counselling qualifications, I am also a certified hypnotherapist and accredited life coach. Prior to retraining, I spent 17 years working in the City, which gives me a strong understanding of pressure, responsibility and the emotional impact of demanding environments.
This background informs my work, particularly with clients who appear to be coping on the outside while struggling internally. I believe that developing awareness of how we think and feel about our experiences is key to meaningful and lasting change.
How We Can Work Together
I offer 50-minute counselling sessions either in person in Sevenoaks or online.
Fee: £75 per session
I also offer a free initial consultation so we can connect and see if working together feels right for you.
